Caught & Social: 'Johnny D' gets a job offer

Always a man to raise eyebrows, Alice Cooper surprised even his most loyal fans at an intimate gig at the 100 Club in London, by bringing on Johnny Depp to work with him. Introduced as Johnny D from Kentucky, Depp came out to bring a pair of tracks with the veteran rocker. The next day, Cooper was in Hyde Park to audition performers for his Halloween Night of Fear show later this year (above).

Wimbledon mania grabs celebrities

After the traditional break on the one day everyone is about to see it, the tennis resumed again yesterday at Wimbledon. So too did the current of personalities keen to mark out the stars. After visiting last week, comic Michael McIntyre was support for more. He was spotted chatting to new Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish and Judy Murray, mother of Scotlands great hope, Andy.
