One of the hardest things to do in living is to ask for help.
We all smell like it reduces us somehow, it shows weakness or a fault within us .
Nothing could be further from the truth.
More frequently than not, we run to go to those who we look will help us out.
The hard part is accepting that in request for help, you have granted the askee a risk to do something good, something positive in their life.
That is a present and it is a vast one.
Some cultures or religions call this Karma.
Others like myself call it being a comely person .
Southside Johnny called me tonight.
He had just started a new job recently and with the cold weather , he unfortunately had come down with some sort of flu .
He worked a day sick, and so took the next day off.
Common sense says send the ill person home before they taint the whole office .
When he returned to work, they decided he was not a "proper fit" and they let him go.
It should be celebrated that this is a commission job.
He is gifted at his occupation of flesh and they really, really lost what could be considered an asset for their company, even though he told me tonight on the phone that he googled this company.and they were " shaky at best."
I could say that this was a tough claim for him to go tonight .
I really think that if the positions were reversed, and he had the ability , he would be there for us and would help us.
If something happened to my husband, Gaia forbid, he would be the first one I'd call and he would be there for me.
We are family.
I know you Southside.
Ciao,
Your Elder sister.
